My husband swears that a tornado touched down right outside our apartment building this afternoon while I was at work. He claims to have seen swirling rain and felt the windows “pulsating.”
According to the National Weather Service, around 3:50pm today high winds in excess of 60mph were witnessed and they were sustained for 4 minutes. It doesn’t come right out and say EF-0 tornado, but maybe at that small level it’s entirely subjective.
Either way, this tree in front of my apartment building “sister” tower was ripped to shreds…
In writing/blogging news, I’m going to add some new categories. For example, Thursday’s are now going to feature a post on one of my many organizing tips. I have yet to come up with a catchy name for the post, but I’m sure I will before tomorrow evening!
